Agency Worker Definition
Question - What Does The Term Agency Worker Mean?
Answer - Workers engaged through, or by, an employment agency or bureau and supplied to a hiring employer on
a temporary basis. Some agencies employ their workers directly and should therefore provide their staff with a contract of employment.
Other agencies contract workers to provide a service to the hiring employer. In this case you are probably self-employed, though possibly
not for tax purposes, and will have a "contract for service".
